Match report 5th XI lost to Chingford 4th XI by 6 wickets.

This was a disappointing results, against a strong Chingford 4th XI. The toss was lost and Parks were inserted on a tricky wicket, lost both openers early in a quick succession for the No 3 batsman Thomas Varnes and the middle order batsmen to steady the ship. Partnerships were formed to build the innings and eventually Parks were bowled out for 173 in 42.3 overs. The contributions from the batters were Thomas Varnes (32), Hassam Jamil (31) and Kavinkumar Veloopillai (42 no).
Chingford skipper Stuart Cox was the pick of the bowler who took 5 wickets in his long spell of 13.3 overs.

Chingford started positively their run pursuit until Milke Blake was adjudged LBW to Nav Kalley. Number 3 batsman Bernard Storm (108) in clearly rush smacking the ball all parts of the grounds took the game away from Parks to finish the game in 30 overs.
