Match report A hard-fought but ultimately disappointing afternoon for Oakfield Parkonians, as Billericay chased down 192 with 5 wickets in hand to claim victory by the narrowest of margins — a result that will sting given how competitive Parkonians' bowling display was throughout.

Batting first, Parkonians never quite found the fluency or the partnerships needed to post a truly imposing total. Ali Khan was the standout contributor, top-scoring with a determined 62 off 82 balls — 13 fours — to anchor the innings and give Parkonians something to bowl at. Without his contribution, the total would have been far more modest. Parkonians made early inroads with the ball, reducing Billericay to a precarious position inside the first few overs.
