Batting first, Parkonians never found the fluency required to post a truly challenging total. Siddharth Barua was the cornerstone of the innings, occupying the crease for 100 balls in making 47. Umesh Jinka contributed a steady 39 before being stumped off the dangerous Saif-Ali Zahoor. Zahoor's figures tell their own story — a stunning 6 for 58 from 13 overs that ripped through the middle and lower order and left Parkonians unable to build any meaningful momentum. This was as tough a result as it gets, and there can be no sugarcoating it. If Parkonians are to remain serious contenders for promotion, days like this must serve as a wake-up call — both with the bat, where 210 was never going to be enough, and particularly with the ball, where far greater discipline and penetration will be required against better opposition.
