Match report Parks won the toss and opted to bat on a pitch that proved to be very good for batting. Getting off to a fast start, Parks went at over 6 an over through the first 10 overs, with Sarankan Skandamoorthy scoring a quality 46 before being bowled on the sweep. After this, a flurry of wickets found Parks 103/5 and in need of a partnership. Navine Sureshan (47 not out) and Fahad Yusaf (29), combined for a patient partnership of 75 before Fahad fell. Parks felt that 204 was a competitive if sub par total.

Unfortunately the bowling and fielding did not go as well. Struggling to hit their lines and lengths, all the bowlers tended to leak runs. Aman Ali (1/23) and Navine (0/35 from 8 overs) helped hold back the inevitable, but the Orsett middle order were too strong. Matt Hills 73 not out ending the chase. Parks will want to improve in a number of areas for next week.
