Match report On a warm Sunday afternoon with a bit of a late start, Tariq and Matt opening the batting. With an explosive start from Tariq and a supportive and defensive start from Matt, parks were off to a good start however both openers were lost quickly. Next to bat was Janagan who fired some beautiful shots all around the ground combined with some big shots from the two’s veteran and went on to make a ton. Our second centurion Tarun came to the crease and played sensibly and always looking to rotate the strike. He played some beautifully timed shots to keep the run rate strong. Then Hassam, Shahid and the skipper Vijay chipped in at the end to raise the parks total to 309.

Jamie and Aayush opened the parks bowling attack, picking up 3 quick wickets between them in the first 5 overs. Aayush was the pick of the bowler with 4 wickets in his spell of 7 overs. The skipper put in a good performance picking up 2 crucial wickets. Shahid bowled an economical spell including a maiden and a wicket. The post drinks overs were crucial to slow the run rate and ensure parks could easily defend their substantial total. The opposition concluded the second innings with an impressive 225 after the 35 overs allowing parks to comfortably win by 84 runs. Ankit for Ruislip was the main contributor to their total with 57 not out.
