Match report Oakfield Parkonians 5th XI lost to Frenford 5th XI by 42 runs at home on Saturday the 20th May 2023.

Parks were skittled out for 26 chasing 68 in their 2nd league 40 over game played on a tricky pitch at London Marathon Playing Field.
Frenford won the toss and surprisingly chose to bat first, were bowled out for 68. Excellent bowling from Nav rightfully earned him a five- wicket haul in his allotted opening spell of 8 overs. Young talented Kajanantis Skandamoorthy replacing Aman Patel bowled beautifully and took 3 wickets including the wicket of Frenford top scorer Zia Hussain for 32.
Parks were in trouble soon after the break losing 4 wickets inside the first 4 overs, never seemed to recover despite a valiant effort from Aman Patel, the only batsman to reach double figures.
Frenford were able to bowl Parks out with the opening bowling pair Z Hussain (6 for 5)and Mohidor (4 for 17) in 10.3 overs.
