In a crucial match at the bottom end of the table, Parks faced a must-win situation against Wanstead & Snarsbrook. Parks were put in to field after losing the toss on a hot and muggy day. The opening bowlers, Manicks Shankar (9-0-45-2) and Hassam Jamil (1-0-18-0), came under attack early on as the opposing team's young pair started strongly, scoring 30 runs in just 3 overs. To counter the aggressive start, Parks captain made an early bowling change, bringing in experienced Aman Patel (11-1-45-3), who showed excellent control and pace. Shankar also bowled effectively on the other end, and together they managed to contain the opposition from breaking free. Parks took wickets at regular intervals, with Janeban Selvamohan's juggling catch at point being a standout moment to remove the opening batsman of Shankar’s bowling. Parks began their chase with a new opening pair comprising young colt Ibad Usman and veteran batsman Tariq Jamil. Unfortunately, their partnership got off to a disastrous start as Ibad was run out while attempting a quick run, leaving both batsmen stranded in the middle. However, what followed next will be remembered for a long time. Vice captain Fazan Habib, making a comeback, played a remarkable innings, showcasing classical defensive shots, well-timed strokes, and powerful hitting. He achieved his maiden century (101*) for the club, smashing 20 boundaries and a six, at a strike rate of 110. Fazan's innings was characterised by immense concentration, determination, and focus. Tariq Jamil contributed 45 runs, while Fahad Yusuf remained unbeaten on 32, providing valuable support to Fazan. Parks comfortably reached the target with 11 overs to spare.

This victory was crucial for Parks, considering their disappointing results in the previous weeks. The team will look to build on this momentum as they prepare for the upcoming challenges against much tougher teams.
