Match report Parks entertained league leaders Epping at Oakfield on a dry sunny day. Winning the toss Parks skipper elected to bat in order to make use of the flat wicket and the fast outfield. Parks openers Amar Desai and Aryan Desai Jr found scoring tough early on against a very disciplined bowling attack backed by a very tight fielding unit. The slow scoring rate meant Parks found themselves 60-1 after 20 over mark. Aryan was the first to fall for a patient 22 and Amar Desai scored a valuable 55. Returning number three batsman Sujeevan Suganthan showed some glimpse of his old self by hitting two massive shots but could not capitalise on his good start and got bowled for 17. The middle order once again failed to fire and gifted most of their wickets asway while number six batsman Maran Mariyathas stranded on one end without any partners. Parks ended their innings with a very disappointing 147 all out with 4 overs to spare.

In replay, Epping came out all guns blazing to chase down the small target quickly. Once again Ashwin Sureshan bowled with pace and accuracy but unlucky to pick up any wickets. First change bowler Sujeevan Suganthan (6-1-31-2) made the initial break through when he bowled the dangerous Ahaduzzaman for 39. Other three wickets were shared between Praven Sureshan, Manicks Shankar and Maran Mariyathas. In the end Epping successfully chased down the small target in 24 overs.

A very disappointing results and Parks are now mid table in the league at the half way mark.
