Match report Oakfield Parkonians day started off well with skipper winning the toss and electing to bat first on an absolute scorcher.

However, things changed very quickly as parks found themselves 1-2 after 4 balls. This bought Bhavik Trivedi and Mannan Arora to the crease with a massive regroup in order, and that's exactly what happened Bhavik smashing the bowlers to all parts for his well made 52. Then the Mannan Arora show really did start, scoring his highest individual score of 152. This innings showed real maturity, his combination of beautiful timing and brute force really demonstrated why he is one true talented. Young Prajen Kavinkumar (28) batted well to support him after another mini collapse from OPCC, these two helped Parks reach 268 off 47.1 overs.

After tea Oakfield started their response off well with both openers Jigar Desia (10-3-38-2) and Nimanka De Silva (6-0-28-1) bowling good areas up top. The introduction of the spin twins (Prajen Kavinkumar and Navine Sureshan) changed the game completely. Both young guns picking up 3 wickets apiece showing great signs of things to come in later years. Parks finally bowled Hornchurch for 153 and moved up to 3rd in the league really boasting their beliefs of promotion.
