Oakfield Parkonians Cricket Club Won by 8 wickets

Match report For their second Cox and Kings match of the season, Oakfield Parkonians U15s played Barking on a moderately warm Sunday.

Captain Kajanantis Skandamoorthy lost the toss and Parks were sent into the field first. Ashwin Sureshan (0-8)and Sriraman.Srividyanandan (1-16)opened the bowling and made a steady start to the innings. Solid bowling from the spin bowlers Kajanantis (2-14) and Zubair Raja (0-19) restricted Barking to only 94.


Parks went into bat and lost Mannan Arora early on in the piece However brilliant batting from Poornasai Vanam (31 retired) and Vajran. Srividyanandan (21 not out) steadied the ship beautifully. Daniel Imran finished the innings off with a quick 19* to lead Parks to a convincing.

All in all, it was a good game for the U15s however improvements must still be made in bowling.
