Match report Parks lost the toss and batted on a slow but even pitch at the Drive. Things started well, with Alan Bouquet (30) and Fazan Habib (20) starting brightly. Parks were 84 for 3 at the half way point and looked set to post a competitive total, but once again, the middle order failed to capitalise on a solid start and soon found themselves 120/8. Reuben Chandy batted through this period for a creditable 33, but it was Matt Holland (18), Jigar Desai (238) and Zubair Raja (11*) that helped grind out 6 batting points, as Parks finished on 175/9 off their 50 overs.

With short boundaries, this was always a below par total. Frenford started positively and the score was chased just a few overs into the last hour. Zubair Raja (2/49) and Santron Thivaharan (2/26) were the wicket takers. Parks walked away with 7 points from this game, but now find themselves bottom of the table with work to do. A bottom of the table clash with Belhus next week is a good opportunity to begin a turnaround in fortunes.
