Match report After last weeks fantastic win over Westcliff-On-Sea in the last timed game, we now moved over to overs for the last 4 games of the season and kicked it off against our rivals Frenford. With no rain overnight or the morning of the game skipper Paran Kalley won the toss and elected to field first. The bowling tactics had too change from what they had done previously as the format of the game had changed, but the stars with the ball had not. Yet again Selva Ramasamy (9-1-38-3) was the pick of the bowlers. At one stage it seemed as though Frenford were to go on and score well over 250, but Parks dragged the game back and took wickets at crucial times. Frenford ended on a score of 206 for 8 off their 45 overs. This was something that Parks were confident they could chase and get the all important 20 points.


Once again Parks didn't get off to a good start losing a wicket inside the first 4 overs and then another shortly after. With the score at 15-2 Parks looked in trouble and there was a real good game on. But Raihan Hussain (55) and Ravi Teja (85*) put Parks back into the driving seat. Raihan being the aggressor of the two really put the pressure on Frenford and didn't allow them to get on top. With only 80 runs needed Raihan got out for a well made 55. This is when Ravi took the reins and ensured the next 80 runs were chased down without any problems. Parks reached the target with 38 balls to spare, this leaves them with good confidence going into a season defining game against Wickford next week at home.
