Match report This week was the start of the timed games for the middle part of the season. Skipper Paran Kalley won the toss and elected to field first. The conditions were batsmen friendly with it being hot and sticky and the pitch being an absolute road, Parks knew they would have to bowl well and anything under 250 would be a great effort from the boys. The first 10 overs belonged to Frenford. Parks bowled poor lines and too many bad balls and on a pitch were it would be tough for the bowlers, 2 dropped catches also didn't help us and it looked as though Frenford may score 300 off their 50 overs. However, Anujan Thiru was in the wickets again and picked up the breakthrough. He did well to bowl in tough conditions. Frenford found themselves 65-1 off just 13 overs. But Ali Iranpana (13-0-22-2) and Ravi Teja (13.4-2-29-5) bowled well together to constrict the runs going for hardly any boundaries. A quick fluster of wickets and Frenford were 173 all out in the 50th over. Ravi bowled well stump to stump and didn't give the batsmen any freebies on a pitch that did not turn at all. This is a score Parks were thrilled with and would've taken any day of the week because it was well below par.

Openers Dhruv Patel (92 not out) and Raihan Hussain (82) batted excellently. They both did not give any chances and took their time knowing that the wicket was a brilliant batting track. They ran between the wickets well and punished the bad balls. It was refreshing to see such a dominant performance from Parks with the bat and get the 20 points. It now makes it 4 wins in a row now for the season and puts the team in excellent form going into the big game next week against unbeaten Wickford.
