Match report After the long awaited return to cricket, the 3rd XI started their season with a friendly away to Willow Herbs. Although it wasn't the result, we would have wanted first game of the season, there were certainly positives to take into our next game.

After losing the toss and being put into bat, it was a slow start from Oakfield on what was not the easiest of wickets to bat on. After losing some quick wickets, Rueben & Jamie picked up the run rate before Jamie was stumped for only 17. Rueben continued his innings and batted superbly hitting a total of 16 boundaries on his way to 90 NO.

In reply, the home team started well until Jigar got the break-through. They continued steadily but Oakfield tried slowing them down with further wickets from Jigar, Charith, Jonathan & Santron and some great bowling from Kabir, especially in his second spell which helped slow them down but, in the end, they reached their target with a few overs to spare winning by 5 wickets.
