Match report Away match against Ilford with the weather forecast showing heavy rain throughout the day, so skipper Haris Khan won the toss chose and elected to bat first on a wet wicket which could only get worse if we were going to get a full game in.

Parks started off brightly with Dhruv Patel showing some confidence in the shots he played and he was supported well by Paresh Kalley. However on what seemed to be a turning wicket and the opposition having 5 spinners it proved to be a difficult task for the Parks batsmen. At 50-5 it looked as if the horrors with the bat were set to continue and a total well below 100 was on the cards. But, Selvam Ramasamy (55) who batted beautifully scoring a half century and Tarun Bhatia (28) hitting big shots at the end to get us up to a defendable and respectable total of 159, which didn't even look likely at the drinks break. Selvam batted with maturity and counter attacked when he needed too but had to dig in for his runs as it was not the easiest of wickets to bat on.

With bowling first over from Selvam Ramasamy straight after came the rain and match was abandoned.
