Oakfield Parkonians Cricket Club Won by 123 Runs

Match report A chilly and breezy morning was the start to the first outdoor match for 2019 , our U13 Team met Frenford B in the Len Stentiford Competition.

Colts U13 Captain (Zubair Raja ) lost the toss and the opposition team decided to bowl first. This decision by Frenford B worked in our favour , as that is what our Colts wanted , we had a great start by Mannan Arora ( retd 32) and Krishan Dilipkumar(16) followed by Daniel Imran (27) ,our young colts managed to score 171 runs in 20 overs with a loss of 8 wickets .

In return Frenford B had a slow start with a lot of pressure from the young OPCC Colts , but they tried to press the opposition hard by tight fielding and great bowling ,in the end Frenford B managed to score 48 runs in 15 overs with a loss of 9 wickets .

We had some good overs from Ashwin Shureshan (2-1-5-1) Sai (2–0-2-2) Zubair (2-1-1-2),Daniel (2-0-4-0) , Kaj Skandamoorthy (2-0-9-2) , Yash Voladri (2-0-10-1) , Valluvan Indrakumar(1-0-6-1)

Overall it was a brilliant game by our young Colts and they performed and behaved very well on the field plus all the players made sure they supported and encouraged when our batmen were on the pitch and we gave very few extras compared to the opposition .
