Match report With half an hour to the 1st ball, play looked in doubt with the threat of rain ever present. Skipper Subash won the toss and chose to bowl to take advantage of a wet but drying pitch.

Ardleigh Green started well, finding the boundary in the first couple of overs. Once opening bowlers Yashes Patel (6-0-24-1) and Inderjit Singh (6-2-15-1) found their rhythm, the scoring slowed with Inder making the first breakthrough. The Parks bowlers kept the bowling tight restricting Ardleigh Green with Akhil Patel (6-0-23-5) coming on after drinks and taking 5 wickets backed by good work in the field. Ardleigh Green finished on a very gettable 126.

What followed can be summed up as a spectacular collapse. The pitch remained difficult to bat on and this was evident by the steady fall of wickets without significant score. No batsmen passed 20 as Parks only managed 111 in 39 overs.
