Oakfield Parkonians Cricket Club Won By 45 runs

Match report After a totally washed out moth of April the Mid Week league began in earnest yesterday. When OPCC met Buckhurst Hill.
With two debutant in Azmain Sikder and Jeevan Sehmby in the team it was great to see the boys intigrate into the team so quickly. Everyone was so eager and played for each other and as a team.

Sheharyar Choudry put in a wonderful performance as the opening batsman. He showef no pressure, making steady runs including one boundary all the way through & retiring on 12* and the second highest run scorer.

All the batsmen especially the younger ones came in to bat with confidence & showing great team spirit despite being bowled out for few or no runs. Navine Sureshan & Nilay Tejura waited patiently for their turn yet did not get to bat & no complaints! That showed true team spirit. Aryan Desai made the tedious runs between the wickets & keenly batting away before retiring .
Ibad Usman is growing into the Captaincy after his first year and showed maturity with his decisions and in his batting partnership & finishing the game off with two boundaries, and top scorer with 18*.
Amazing bowling by everyone concerned
Nilay...opening bowl with a maiden over- second over 1 run- 3rd over 3 runs... total of 4 runs given in 3 overs.
Ibad... maiden over- 3 runs in second over- 2 simultaneous wickets & 2 runs in third... total of 5 runs given & 2 wickets taken in three overs.
Aryan... second over was a wicket maiden!
Sheharyar... 2 runs given in first over- 2 runs given in second over. Total of 4 runs in two overs.
Satwik Morti ... a wicket taken & 5 runs given in first over.
Salahuddin Raja ... wicket & 2 runs given first over- another wicket & 1 run given second over. Total 2 wickets & 3 runs given in two overs.
Rehaan Ahmed's first over went for 4 runs, last over... well... let’s just say it was a great effort and ok maybe he just wanted to get the bowling practice in!
