Match report Parks 3s played Harold Wood in yet another important game in the hunt for promotion. On a very good looking flat pitch, Parks found themselves bowling first after losing the toss. It was a warm day and it was hard work for the bowlers, but they stuck at it well. Abdul Usman (2/37) yet again looked good, taking two early wickets with his in-swing. It was the bowling of Ibrahim Iqbal (3/13 from 9 overs) and Sarankan Skandamoorthy (4/21), who ran through the middle order however, picking up wickets regularly and preventing partnerships from forming. Parks bowled Harold Wood out for 132 in 36 overs, leaving a relatively straight forward chase in ideal conditions.

The chase always looked comfortable for Parks, with Dan Shalom scoring a classy looking 37 before getting bowled around his legs. Usman Rafiq (28*) and Teerath Diocee (25*) saw parks over the line with 7 wickets and plenty of overs in hand.

With other results going Parks way this week, they are now 26 points ahead of 3rd place and look very good for promotion, barring a disastrous last two weeks of the season.
