Match report Promotion still possible, Parks pushed right until the end.

The day started well with Foley winning the toss and electing to bat. After a slow start, Parks accelerated with all top order batsmen making a contribution. Stand out performers with Foley (58) for acting as a rock, A Kalley (28*) for a last minute acceleration and R Karuna (38) who set a good base despite not getting off the mark for 11 overs! All other batsmen ably supported and Parks declared on 41 overs at 233 (perhaps too late knowing the rain was coming).

And the rain came. 13 overs after a good start of swing bowling by Thiru and Ali the heavens came in and Parks chance of promotion fell through the trap door.

With Harlow only achieving 4 points, a lot of what-if's ran through the minds. The second half of the season unfortunately did not match up to the first and Parks finished the season 3rd.

Whilst disappointing, a strong start to Div 2 and lot to look forward to with an team average age under 20 for pretty much the whole season.

Stand out performers were James Foley with the bat scoring 742 runs @ 67.42 and taking 14 catches, Dilan Patel with the ball taking 30 wickets @ 22.33 and Aman & Sift Ali who scored 238 runs & 145 runs and took 20 & 24 wickets respectively. Thanks to all that contributed.
