Match report A tough fixture away to high flying Hainault and Clayhall in Div 1, who have had a great start to the season. Matters were not helped by starting with 9 men for first few overs and then fielding with 10 men till about the 17th over.

S Vaja batted superbly for a brilliant 85 which meant they registered an impressive 200.

Old Parks were never really the hunt of such a big score. However, a positive was Numan Khan compiling a classy 67 not out of only 49 balls, as we ended up with a respectable 159. Thoughts turned to what if we had 11 men from start to finish, about what may have been.

Anyhow things dont get any easier in the T20 league as next up is one of the best teams in Essex in Wanstead. However, if we show the same character and effort as in this game, then many positives can be gained.
