Match report Oakfield Parkonians CC, Essex 4th XI produced a dominant all-round performance to defeat Billericay CC 4th XI by 10 wickets in a one-sided contest. After being asked to bat first, Billericay struggled from the outset against a disciplined and accurate bowling attack, losing wickets at regular intervals and finding it difficult to build any meaningful partnerships. They were eventually dismissed for just 62 in 23.2 overs.

Manu Sethumadhavan provided the only significant resistance for the visitors, scoring 33 from 40 balls and striking five boundaries in an otherwise challenging innings for Billericay. Ayaan Agha was the only other batter to reach double figures, contributing 10 runs, as the rest of the batting line-up was unable to cope with the pressure applied by Oakfield Parkonians’ bowlers.

Kavinkumar Veloopillai was the standout performer with the ball, producing an excellent spell to finish with figures of 5/22 from 11.2 overs. He was well supported by Lakshmi Narayanan, who claimed 3/10 with a tidy and economical spell, while Mazhar Minhas chipped in with 2/24 to complete the demolition of the Billericay innings.
