Oakfield Parkonians CC secured a convincing 8-wicket victory over Cholchester CC in a high-scoring encounter at the Old Parkonians Pavilion. Another fantastic century from Shahariyar Chaudhry (101 in 50 balls) with 10 sixes and 4 boundaries is highlight of the chase from Parkonians.

Cholchester 2XI CC Innings

After winning the toss and electing to bat, Cholchester started with aggression. Parkoninas opening bowler Osman picked two early wickets taking both openers in his first spell. With quite a few catch drops from the team, Cholchester number 3 and 4 batters secured a decent 119 partnership before they lost their skipper, while number 3 continue to anchor the innings and helped to post a competitive total of 290/8 in their 45 overs.

Parkonias started the chase with a view to have a good opening partership which was delivered by openers Neil ( 71) and Faisal (81) with a good total of 141 before Faisal dismissal, that brings Shahariyar Chaudhry, who scored a ton unbeaten in previous game played a spectacular, unbeaten innings one more time.
