Match report Parks suffered another defeat at home, this time at the hands of Wanstead and Snaresbrook 6th XI, who won the toss and elected to bat first. Despite a strong bowling effort that saw the visitors bowled out for 140 in the 30th over, Parks couldn't capitalise with the bat. Nav Kally impressed with an economical and controlled spell of 8 overs, taking 2 wickets for just 23 runs. Manick Shanker coming in as first change bowler, claiming yet another five-wicket haul to keep the opposition in check. In reply, Parks got off to a disastrous start, losing four early wickets and finding themselves on the back foot. A composed innings from Amar Desai (54) offered a glimmer of hope as he tried to build partnerships and anchor the chase. However, with little support from the other end, Desai eventually ran out of partners. Parks were bowled out for 116 with 5.4 overs remaining, falling 25 runs short of the target. Wanstead’s bowlers Riyan Shah, Shaurya Shivhare, and Rituraj Shivhare, each claimed three wickets to seal the win.
