After heavy overnight rain left the pitch damp and the outfield slow, Oakfield Parkonians lost an important toss and were asked to bat first.

Openers Faisal (22) and Neil (14) started positively, but with the score on 50 both were dismissed, leaving Oakfield needing to rebuild.
