Chasing 214 for victory, Oakfield had an early setback with Krishan dismissed quickly at 12/1. Shahariyar then joined Viraj, and the pair batted superbly, building a match-winning stand of 135 runs. Viraj was eventually dismissed for a fine 90, leaving Oakfield at 147/2.

Although Surya fell soon after for just 4 runs, and Shahariyar followed for an excellent 77, Oakfield were already within touching distance of victory. With just 17 runs needed, Sahil and Ali Khan batted sensibly to steer the side home with 6 wickets in hand almost 24 overs to spare.
