Match report The Under 13 put in a fine performance to beat West Essex, their first Len Stentiford Cup match of the season.
Shane opened the bating and scored an excellent 32 runs before retiring, Inquiyad (22 not out) and Taariq (24 not out) helped the team to a total of 139 for the loss of 5 wickets.
Hassan bowled 2 fast accurate overs to dismiss the first three batsmen for 7 runs. Vikram and Taariq our first change bowlers chipped in with a brace of wickets each. The whole team fielded well to restrict West Essex to 40 runs all out.
