Match report The Old Parks U13 side played Leyton County in the first round of the David Bradford Cup. The Parks were put into bat after Shane lost the toss. Shane and Marcus (17) got the Parks of to a flyer with 22 runs off the first 3 overs with Marcus picking apart the opening bowlers. The Parks posted 109 with Inky and Taariq forming a good partnership to anchor the Parks to a good total (Taariq 18, Inquiyad 13). Leyton County started off well but the Parks soon got hold of the match. Hassan and Vikram both took good fighting break throughs but Anish was the pick of the bowlers with figures of (2 overs 3 runs 3 wickets). A truly amazing performance from the Parks, won them the game and we showed today our true potential.
