The U13's scored 130 for the loss of 5 wickets with good knocks by all the batsmen, Vikram Handa (18 not out retired0, Hassan Chaudhry (18 out)and Inquiyad Chowdhury playing above his age group(17 not out).
Buckhurst Hill scored 86 all out in reply with Anish Karavadra and Shane Vamadevan both taking a brace of wickets. Inquiyad Chowdhury starred with the ball bowling 2 overs 1 maiden 1 run 4 wickets,a hatrick maiden in his first over.
A fine performance saw by the whole team saw Old Parks win by 44 runs.

Old Parks played Buckhurst Hill on a sunny Sunday morning. Shane won the toss and elected to bat and what an important toss to win too. Shane and Marcus opened the batting and built a very good partnership with Marcus hitting 2 fours with one being a pull and Shane also hitting 2 fours with one being a glorious flick off the legs. Marcus departed on 15 after being caught and Vikram came in . Shane then got bowled after going for a big shot. The middle order shone with all 4 batsmen retiring with respectable scores (Vikram 18*, Hassan 18 explosive hitting, Inky 17* and Daniel 13*. The Parks had amassed 130 from 20 overs and were in control at the interval.

Captains report:
Hassan and Vikram had made a slightly wayward start to the proceedings with 32 coming off the first 4 overs. Inky then destroyed the middle order with a fine spell of bowling (2 overs-1 maiden-4 wickets-1run) this spell also included a hat trick. After this the Parks were in control. The Parks controlled the rest of the game with Shane and Anish taking 2 each and Shyam taking 1. The Parks won convincingly by 44 runs. The Parks face a good Leyton County side in the National Cup next Sunday, let’s hope that the momentum from today’s win carries forward to next Sunday.
