Match report Stand in skipper Matthew Holland started the day off well winning the toss and bowling in bowler friendly conditions. 

Parks started well with Jigar Desia (13-2-26-4) once again setting the standard bowling excellent lines and lengths with a hint of swing. Billericay lost one of their openers and were 11 for 1 after 4 overs! A mini partnership started to form until leg spin twins Zubair Raja (6-0-27-1) and Praven Sureshan (9-0-21-3) used the turning pitch to their advantage.  Some poor shot selection from the Billericay batsmen and some clean catches from Oakfield slow the run rate down . Some good death bowling from Jigar and Nimanka De Silva help restrict Billericay to 205.

Parks didn't start their reply off well losing Chetan Patel (12) and Krishan DilipKumar (0) bringing Reuben Chandy (35) to the crease. He batted with responsibility and composure supporting the bully in Bhavik Trivedi. Bhavik hit the bowlers to all parts of the ground, using a combination of delicate guides behind square, beautiful cover drives and brute force. There was slight bump in the run with Billericay getting a hatrick but I'm came Matthew Holland (36*) who batted with maturity and played a real captains innings.  After Bhavik was dismissed by a good catch in the deep, in strolled Zuabir Raja (11*) who batted with ease to help finish off run chase with 2.2 overs to spare.

Great win for Oakfield Parkonians 3rd Xi helping them in their relegation scrap. Massive game next week against Loughton let's hope we can make it 3/3 and really push up the table .
