Match report Yet another day for OPCC with a match against Lougton in the Cox and Kings U15 league.
OPCC batted first and the weather not in favour , we had a real slow start for the initial 12 overs with loss of 1 wicket , the game then gained the pace with middle order batsmen, in the end OPCC managed to score 105 in 20 overs with the loss of 4 wickets.
In return Lougton made a start with runs coming in quick succession , then the spin bowlers managed to slow the Lougton players, some real good catches were taken and there were stumping and also bowled out players but along with that came some dropped catches and missed runout opportunities, in the end even though Lougton lost 6 wickets they managed to reach the target in 18 overs.
OPCC fell short of runs to keep Lougton away from winning the match.
