Oakfield Parkonians Cricket Club Lost By 1 run

Match report A sunny morning was the start to another outdoor match for 2019 , our U13 Team met Loughton CC in the Len Stentiford Competition.

Colts U13 Captain (Zubair Raja) won the toss and decided to bat first. We had a decent start with Mannan Arora and Krishan Dilipkumar, but we had a early dismal of Mannan on 11 and it was followed by a quick exit of Sai Vannam , but Ali Khan and Krishan built up the score for OPCC , Ali Khan retired at 30 and Krishan Dilipkumar got out for 28 , from here on Daniel Imran and Aayush Desai took charge and had a final knock of runs and helped OPCC to build up a score of 141 at the end of 20 overs , Daniel Imran was not out for 25 .

In return Loughton faced the second innings with a slow steady start but they lost some early wickets , but the batsmen at number 3 and 4 build up the score which kept them in par with OPCC runrate and at the end the situation was pretty nerve ending as it finally came to a point of 1 ball remaining and 2 runs needed .
But unfortunately that did not work in our favour and opposition scored the required runs and won the game .
Overall it was a interesting game showing certain voids in our ability.
