Match report Parks travelled to Orsett in 3rd v 4th with parks keen to show they were the 3rd best team in the division. The toss was won and Parks had a bat on a good looking track.

Finally the opening partnership of Shawn Tuitt and Dhruv Patel fired in to action with a blistering opening partnership of 125. Fantastic shots peppered the boundaries with regular occurrence as the 2 of them enjoyed a great day at the office. Dhruv finished on 60 and Shawn on 70 as they gave Parks the perfect start. This was carried on by vice captain Harris Khan who played a composed knock to then accelerate at the end to score an unbeaten 58. This meant Parks finished on a imposing 245. But with the track being good and a fast outfield this was going to be a stern test.

Orsett started well with lots of boundaries as they rode there luck to propel along. However, the introduction of spin changed things as Ravi Teja mesmerised with his leg spin to grab 3 wickets. Then the ever reliable left arm spin of Abdul Razzaq tore in to the tail to grab 4 wickets. Abduls bowling gave hope and in the final over Parks needed one wicket. It came to the final ball in a thrilling finish and Selvam Ramasamy yorked the last batsman to grab a glorious win with jubilant scenes.

So Parks finished 3rd in another good season were they showed there class. Promotion just missed out on but Parks can show there pride in another good season with lots of good cricket played.
