Match report We travelled to Southend after a good pre season with high expectations, sadly the result did not match the optimism. We lost the toss and were put in on good bowling conditions.

A poor batting performance followed were we out done by the swinging ball and inability to combat it. Only player to show any sparkle was Dhruv Patel with a nice 23. Other then that a procession ensued and Parks were 79 all out.

This was never going to be enough and the runs were chased with only 3 down. Although one can’t fault the bowling performance as all was given with some serious pace being generated by young Eshun Kalley. But with no total to play with the result was a loss.
So we host local rivals Frenford next week hoping to bounce back. Good news is that we are only one win of top, so all to play for!
