Oakfield Parkonians Cricket Club Won By 52 runs

Match report The u12s we’re hosting a keen Bancroft lions side today on a beautiful warm summer morning on a dry wicket.
We lost the toss and were put in to bat. Thanks to some splendid batting we posted 231 for 5 in 25 overs. The pick of our batsman were Daniel Imran (60 rtd) Mannan Arora (44) and Aayush Desai (32) with supporting efforts from Zubair RAJA, Samay Bhattachartee & Ali Khan.
The opposition were very valiant in their response and our bowlers had to work very hard to restrict them to 179 for 6 after 25.
Wickets apiece for Ali Khan Samay Bhattachartee and a brace for Zubair RAJA ensured that our total was never really under threat and in the end it was a well deserved win by 58 runs.
No room for complacency though - plenty for our boys to work on - particularly fielding and the requirement for more disciplined bowling.
