Oakfield Parkonians Cricket Club Won by 10 runs

Match report After a night of fierce thunder storms , we had a kind of gloomy early morning , but everyone turned up with great spirit as it was the last match for U13 in the Group B of Len Stentiford Cup tournament .

Our U13 Clots captain won the toss and decided to bat , the innings was opened by Mannan Arora (17) and Reuben Chandy (31) , they played well with a good partnership , we lost our 1st wicket for 38 runs , Zubair Raja joined in with Reuben to put up a score of 75 runs when we lost the 2nd wicket , Reuben had to retire at 31 runs , which then gave Daniel Imran and Praveen the responsibility to stack up the score , Daniel Imran scored (31) retired and Praveen Sureshan (11) runs not out, this was followed by few wicket loss , but finally our young Clots raised a good 132 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 5 wickets plus 2 retired .

In return to the challenge , Frenford CC , had a horrible start , they lost wicket in the opening over , which gave our colts a great start to the second innings , at one point the opposition were 3 wickets down for 5 runs , but then the opposition played their best batsmen out which turned out to be a challenge to our team. However fielding and run out by Reuben , took the wickets of the opposition captain and three other wickets in the similar fashion , they lost the 4th wicket at 47 runs , but the 5th wicket was turning out to be a nightmare as the batsmen was just trying to wack every ball , but a great ball by Aayush Desai sealed that batsmen's fate , he was bowled when the score was 104 runs . At the end it was 111 runs for 18 overs and then 117 runs of 19 overs , which put the opposition a challenge to score 15 runs in 6 balls , but they could only score 121 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets .

Out of the 8 wickets , three were bowled , one stumped , and four run outs , brilliant fielding bowling and wicket keeping by our young colts .

Man of the Match Reuben Chandy 31 runs in 25 balls along with taking 3 run outs and 1 stumping OPCC won
