Match report For the second match running the U15's managed to contrive a tie from a winning position.

Oakfield won the toss and decided to bat. Runs flowed freely with opening batsmen Talha Raja (18) and Sujeev Suganthan (16) putting on a fifty partnership before Talha was caught in the sixth over. Bhavdeep Sehmi continued his fine form retiring on 52 with an innings which included 6 fours and 2 sixes. Zayd Ahmed contributed 23* with Oakfield completing their 20 overs on 145 for the loss of 3 wickets.

Loughton's opening batsmen played steadily but were always behind the run rate. The first wicket fell in the 15th over with the score on 98, the first of Talha's (3-0-23-2) 2 wickets. The following over saw Bhavdeep (3-0-17-1) take a wicket and all was looking good with Talha and Bhavdeep restricting the flow of runs.
Surprisingly with two overs to go and with Loughton needing 29 to win we had two bowling changes; the 19th over went for 11 runs, 18 needed off the last over.
4 fours and a dot ball later left Loughton needing 2 to win off the last ball, this went for a single and with the scores level the match was tied.
