Match report Parks faced Billericay looking to get back to winning ways after dropping points the previous week. H. Markatis won the toss and put Billericay into bat with overcast weather and a pitch that looked like it would have something in it early on for the bowlers.

Parks started strongly as Sifth Ali (8-1-33-1), Sahil Handa (8-1-37-3) and Tarunpreet Bhatia(8-2-22-1) bowled brilliantly picking up a wicket each in their first spells limiting Billericay to 66-3 off 18 overs. Billericay fought back well and despite losing a couple more wickets built a good partnership late allowing them to reach 229-9 after 50 overs. Dilan Patel (16-2-74-3) and Om Thakeria (10-0-54-1) bowled well and were extremely unlucky to have not taken a few more wickets.


After tea Parks went about chasing a score that was a bit more than they should have allowed but was not a massive total. Their innings did not get off to the greatest start finding themselves 47-4 after 12 overs, unfortunately, other than Haaris Shah (29), not much resistance was applied from the top 4. From there Parks lost two more wickets, until Sifth Ali (69) was joined by Sahil Handa (49) as the pair played brilliantly putting on a 95 run partnership to claw Parks back into the game at 179-6 after 39 overs, requiring 50 off 42 balls. Unfortunately, with only 4 wickets in hand parks tumbled to 190-10 after 42 overs, falling 40 runs short.

Another set back for Parks, but they still remain in a commanding position to go on and win the league., 10 points ahead of second and 3 big games remaining.
