Oakfield Parkonians Cricket Club Won by 9 Runs

Match report Barking CC won the toss & Parks had to bat.
Openers Ayman RIfan & Poornasai Vanam batted steadily, & retired to make way for Mannan Arora & Ayaan Usman. Parks had reached 50 runs with a boundary from Ayaan when he was bowled out leaving Mannan who comfortably made two boundaries in his 14 runs, making him the highest scorer in the match. The Desai cousins were put into bat, when after just one run from Aayush, Aryan was bowled. Valluvan IndraKumar put on an impressive display of running between the wickets & Nilay managed to score two on the bat before being caught by the bowler. Ashwin Sureshan's wicket fell, unfortunately, straight after & Shaan Pall & Ibad Usman came in to help increase the score- both came away not out & Ayman, Poornasai & Mannan finished of the overs giving Barking 112 to chase.

Barking failed to keep up as their first wicket fell in the second over caught & delivered by Ashwin. 10 runs more & they saw their second wicket bowled by Nilay. Ashwin took a catch bowled by Ashwin during the eighth over. Little Aryan didn't let Barking get further as he took a surprise wicket leaving them 33-4 on 9 overs.
Mannan's bout of wicket keeping saw him take a great single handed catch bowled by Valluvan. Poornasai caught & delivered the skippers wicket during the 18th over after which three further wickets were taken- one by Ayman & two by Nilay.
Parks took all the oppositions wickets steadily making Barking fall short of the 17 runs required to win the game.
