Match report Belhus won toss and put Oakfield into bat. Our team only having 9 players....Praven Sureshan and Arya Karthikeyan opened and put on 22 in the 8th over when Arya was caught for 6. The very next ball Daniel Imran took a risky single and was run out for 0! With runs coming at a slow pace the saving grace for us getting over 100 was because of 60 extras given. Umar Muhamed top scored with 10, with Praven 9 and both Samay Bhattarchette and Ayman Rifan on 9 NO. We finished with 110-4.

Belhus batted well, with their opener Lewis Blake falling for 9 in the 4 over. A brilliant partnership of 65 followed until Henry Overy was run out on 24, the next batman Alex Blake was out for 1 with the score tight on 93-3 after 21 overs. Then Teddy Water was run out with a brilliant 44 leaving the visitors needing 4 off the last over. They reached the required total with 3 balls to spare.

This was the closest match our young squad has had and they played well. We may have won saving a few vital runs if we were not 2 players short.
