Match report The 3s came into this game knowing that they were already promoted, but a win could see them champions of the division.

Batting first, Parks slipped to 85/5 with some poor shot selection being the main problem. Ibrahim Iqbal, promoted up the order, decided to try and hit his way out of trouble. He launched several huge sixes in an innings of 85 which came up in less than 50 balls. At the other end Jaydeep Dhuria batted sensibly to reach 69 not out, the two putting on 140 for the 6th wicket.

Follwoing Ibrahims dismissal, Tarun Bhatia came in and added a quickfire 36. Declaring early on 278/6, Parks felt they had a great chance to win the game, but unfortunately the rain came shortly after the resumption and put pay to what could have been another victory.

Parks go into Division 2 next year and attain promotion for the 3rd year in a row.
