Match report A good win for Parks in their first home game of the season against Shenfield.

On an overcast day Parks won the toss and elected to bowl. Shenfield got off to a good start, finding themselves 118/1 after 17 overs. It was not looking good for Parks but they responded brilliantly and managed to bowl the opposition out for 196 with 5 overs remaining. Sifth Ali(6-1-19-1) and Vishal Patil(7-1-29-4) were the pick of the bowlers.

Dan Shalom (15) and Dhruv Patel (31) started positively as Parks accelerated to 44 after 5 overs. Despite losing 3 wickets in 3 overs Vishal Patil (19) and Harry Markatis (31) both made good starts but neither pushed on, taking parks past the 100 mark. After they both produced with the ball, it was left to Sifth Ali and Tarun Bhatia to knock off the winning runs confidently and comfortably.

Parks Chased the total with 5 overs to spare, however the batsman need to start converting good starts into big scores.
