Match report On the final day of the season Parks took on Leigh on Sea only requiring 5 points for promotion.

Parks lost the toss and were put into bat, despite the rain, the wicket was dry and good for batting. Dhruv Patel and Faisal Bhatti opened up the innings and got off to a steady start until Faisal fell LBW for 5 runs. Sachin Vara came to the crease and struck an explosive 27 featuring some great shots, but was caught and bowled by the opposition, an absolute wonder catch. Parks surpassed the 175 runs landmark to secure the 5 points for promotion but Dhruv Patel pushed on making a glorious 123* as parks maintained their hunger to win the game. Paresh Kalley supported brilliantly playing some great shots and pushing the run rate with ease for his 32*. This brought parks to a declaration of 220-4 giving Leigh on sea 58 overs to chase the total.

Both teams agreed a quick turnaround before tea, which allowed Sifth Ali and Sahil Handa to tear apart the top order of Leigh on sea leaving the opposition 31-5 at tea. After the break Sifth Ali (8-2-31-3) only added 2 overs to his spell but a devastating piece of bowling with the new ball. Ravi raval chipped in after tea (3-0-12-1) leaving Sahil Handa (10.2-2-52-6) to bowl ferociously taking 6 wickets with 4 bowled and the final wicket which led to great scenes on the home square.

Onto next season in Division 1.
