Match report Goresbrook won the toss and put Parks into bat on a very difficult pitch to bat on due to the heavy rain leading up to the game. Parks struggled after a good start from the openers. The only player to offer much resistance was Khan who batted steadily. Parks were limited to 106, a score that should have been higher with better running.
Were the batting lacked discipline the bowling was the opposite. Excellent spells from all bowlers took the game to the final over where the opposition just managed to knock off the final runs. Parks fielded well and chased down every ball. Special mention needs to go to young Eshun Kalley with one of the most impressive spells of bowling witnessed by a young man. He bowled with pace, moving the ball in both directions picking up 4 wickets.
Overall great spirit displayed by the team, it was just a shame the win eluded us.
