Parks won the toss and inserted Fives to bat on a green wicket and had early success as Sachin Fing removed the opening batsman U Duncan with his first delivery and claimed two wickets to finish his spell of 7 overs. Despite losing wickets at regular interval Five’s number two veteran batsman M Thompson played a resilience innings of 56 to help Fives to register 143 all out after 39.1 overs. Bhavik Trevidi and Shahid Khan took two wickets a piece and the skipper Vijay Vijayanathan claimed 3 wickets.

Parks started very positively as the openers George Christian (24) and Y Karuna (7) put on an opening partnership of 42 in 12 overs, but failed to capitalise on a good start to cross the line, despite a middle order batsmen Janagan Vijayanathan (36) and Shahid Khan (16) brought the score to 115 for 5. Needing only 28 from the last 17 overs, Parks lost the remaining wickets falling short of 13 runs. M Yaseen for Fives made use of the pitch condition well to claim 6 wickets for 36 runs in his spell of 14 overs.
