Match report This was a game where the toss proved to be crucial, and Parks unfortunately lost it. Batting first Parks worked hard to put up a good score and give themselves maximum time to try and bowl the opposition out. Vishal patil who was returning after an absence of 5 years, scored a lightning century, eventually falling for 109. Supported by several 20s through the middle order, Parks were eventually bowled out in the 39th over, giving them 46 overs minimum to try and get all 10 wickets.

Unfortunately, despite the ample time to give the total a go, a few early wickets meant that Wanstead 6th had no intention of going for the win, and despite a sustained effort from Jon Balakumar (4/46), and some great fielding by Ibrahim Iqbal, the game petered out into a draw.

Parks went away with 11 points, which one might call a 'winning draw', but it was a little frustrating as one felt that a chance to chase on this pitch would have produced a very different outcome.
