This was quite a straightforward win for Oakfield. Having been inserted by the home team, Parks made a solid opening partnership of 98 by openers Alan Bouquet (83 with twelve 4s) and Teerath Diocee (35). With Usman Rafiq adding 40 not out to his previous day’s not out century. On a slow pitch but capitalising on poor fielding Oakfield’s 40 overs brought up a total of 224 for 6.

In reply, Rosslyn could not muster much of a run chase and were all out for 83 in 34.1 overs. The opening spell from Sarbjeet Singh (3 for 17 in his 7 overs) and Sifth Ali (1 for 6) proved to be too much for the Rosslyn. As a result they lost the first 4 wickets for 38 runs. Despite some resistance from the middle order batsmen, eventually they were all out for 83 in 31.1 overs when Jamie Gordon and Nick Thorpe ran through the remaining wickets. Sarbjeet Sing and Jamie Gordon took 3 wickets apiece and Nick Thorpe finished with 2 for 8 runs.
