Parks did short work of their opponents, west essex, as they completed another convincing win. Parks were asked to bat on a wet wicket. Conditions looked difficult as the in form Vikram Handa found it hard to play his natural game. Make shift opener Raghav Chopra was sent back early on. Skipper decided to go in early. He found his rhythm straight away as he hit four sixes in a short innings of 37. Haris came in after the skipper departed and played a brilliant innings and lifting the score to 272. Skipper decided to declare the innings early and give his bowlers a chance to bowl out west essex.

Conditions were rather easy for batting after tea but Raghav Chopra made it difficult for the batsmen. He took two early wickets to make in roads to the decent batting line up. Spinners were introduced early on and it paid off. Abdul and young Aman Ali partnered well and looked dangerous. Aman Ali was the star of the show as the youngster got his maiden five wicket hail for 1st eleven. West Essex were bowled out for 92.
