Match report skipper lost the toss and put the opposition into bat. This turned out to be an excellent decision as Arshad Mughal and Raghav Chopra had Woodford Green batsmen guessing which way the ball was swinging. At one point Woodford looked to have been bowled out for less than 50 but some lusty blows from Mashoud and a gritty batting from soomro ensured Woodford a respectable total . Arshad Mughal returned to his best, bowling a marathon spell of 17 overs. At times he was simply unplayable and looked set to take all 10 Wickets. He finished the proceedings with 7 wickets. Raghav supported well with 1 wicket to his name and Baldeep Mann finishing the tail off with 2 wickets.

145 to chase with plenty of time to get the runs. It looked easy but Woodford Greens's in form bowler Mashoud made the life difficult for Parks batsmen. Parks kept losing wickets during the chase. Ronan Karuna. the debutant, was sent in to steady the ship and he didn't disappoint his skipper having made a solid 31 which included a monster hit to mid wicket for a six. His six was duly applauded by the spectators and brought life back into Parks who at point looked to have lost the game. Raghav played well for his 22 befor he was stumped of a delivery that pitched outside leg and missed the off stump. Baldeep Mann, Mr. Dependable, saw the team through with a classic straight drive off Mashoud , much to the delight of the skipper who had his heart in his mouth. What a way to finish off the game.
