Match report Having lost the toss and asked to field, captain Shane asked Paran and Eshun Kalley to open the bowling for OPCC. A special mention to Eshun Kalley the U13 playing an U18 match, who bowled well despite the onslaught at the time from the opposition. Paran as always bowled very well (3-0-15-0). Follow on bowler Abdul Usman bowled his full quota of overs and finished with 2 wickets for 19 runs. The other noticeable bowler on the day was Sahil Handa who bowled with aggression, ending with bowling figures of (3-0-26-2). A special mention to the 33 extra conceded, which on another day could easily be the difference between winning and losing. OPCC were able to restrict the opposition to 150 of the allocated 20 overs.

In response OPCC managed to overhaul the target in 18 overs - 152 for 3. The innings of the day was definitely by the U16 captain Dhruv Patel, who made an unbeaten and chance-less 106. Umpiring from the middle it was an absolute treat to watch this young man hit the opposition to every corner of the ground with such ease and elegance.

Overall a very satisfying win, especially as OPCC are effectively playing with an U15 team.
